The CDC is the lead economic development organization in Butler County that proactively creates an environment for private industry with rental leases, job creation and job retention opportunities through our coordination of leaders from local business, municipal, county, and other elected officials and organizations at all levels of government.

Site Selection


Assist companies of all sizes in site selection through CDC marketing, business attraction activities, and partner collaboration in the region.



Provide loans ranging from CDC internal loan funds to Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority Loans, (PIDA); and collaborate with other lending sources/ regional partners.

Site Development


Perform feasibility, procurement, and construction to have shovel and/or pad-ready sites available. The CDC historically focused on Brownfield re-use and sites requiring environmental remediation.
