Slippery Rock Technology Park The Community Development Corporation of Butler County is proposing the creation of incubator and multi-tenant space intended to leverage research and technology from faculty and students at Slippery Rock University. Both Slippery Rock University and the Community Development Corporation of Butler County have been working to build a speculative office building to entice companies to the area who need the readily available workforce of students. Several companies have expressed their intent to locate in such a building once completed. These companies will provide part time employment opportunities and professional development opportunities for the students as well as much needed job opportunities for local residents.
