What is the CDC?
The Community Development Corporation of Butler County was founded in 1959 as an organization to meet the growing demands for continued, sustained economic development in Butler County. A nonprofit corporation governed by a 31 member Board of Directors and supported by donations and minimal service fees, the CDC has been successful in its economic development endeavors. Approximately $84,000,000 in state financing has been secured for county businesses by the CDC.
