Community Development Corporation of Butler County
WE HAVE. WE DO.

The CDC of Butler County has financed projects from $5,000 to $5 million. CDC's financial toolbox includes various financial tools from state and federal programs as well as our own ever growing internal loan programs.

The Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) loans for job creation and retention of employment through low interest loans to local non-profit industrial development corporations. Small Business First (SBF) provides low interest financing for land building acquisition and construction, machinery and equipment purchases, and working capital. Small Business Association (SBA) 504 program is fixed financing for expanding small business. SBA 504 is the first federal financing tool to recognize the importance of small business.

The CDC manages a number of locally controlled loan programs designed to fill gaps in public funding capacity. The Growth Initiative Loan Program (GILP) provides stand alone start up and/or next stage funding to small businesses to accelerate your business to the next level of economic success. The Wolf Creek Entrepreneurial Assistance Loan Program (WCEALP) is a geographically specific program used to fund small or emerging business in the commerce corridor between Grove City and Slippery Rock. The Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) with a slightly higher, participating loan limit is designed to stimulate new employment and business growth through low-interest loans. With the highest loan limits, The United States Department of Agriculture Intermediary Relending Program (USDA IRP) was created to increase economic activity and employment. In the USDA IRP, the Community Development Corporation borrowed funds from the USDA which we relend to eligible businesses. In the last 10 years, the CDC has financed over $5 million of projects with monies loaned from our internally controlled funds.

If financing your project is a challenge, then CDC is the solution. We have and we do.

"The CDC has been most helpful in the development of our project. When we had questions, they found answers: when we had problems, they found solutions. They're so beneficial to small businessman like myself. They've truly been an essential partner in our growth."
