The redevelopment of a 27.7 acre brownfield site, located in Forward Township of Butler County.  This project includes demolition of existing structures and installation of updated infrastructure for pad ready sites.  This project will create an estimated 150 jobs for Butler County.

The site was previously used by MSA as a pilot missile fuel additive production facility.  The plant was constructed in 1978 and operated by Callery Chemical under contract to the United States Army, for production of normal hexyl carbonane.  The plant operated for approximately 18 months between 1981 and 1983.  In 1986, MSA entered into a contract with the U.S. Army to provide maintenance, surveillance, and protection of the dormant facility.  The Army subsequently abandoned the facility and relinquished all rights to MSA three years later.

MSA later donated the 27.7 acre parcel to CDC Environmental for redevelopment.
