About The CDC of Butler County

The Community Development Corporation of Butler County was founded in 1959 as an organization to meet the growing demands for continued and sustained economic development in Butler County.  The CDC is a non-profit corporation 501 (c) (6); governed by a 32 member Board of Directors.

Over the years CDC of Butler County has developed and maintained an environment that has created jobs, retained jobs, improved the quality of life within the community and established a positive business climate.

Since the first project of developing East Butler, the CDC has played an important role in making Butler County what it is today.  The Kreiss Road Business Park, Victory Road Business Park and the redevelopment of the former Pullman Standard Plant are just a few projects the CDC has been apart of developing over the years. 

Throughout Butler County's history and economic growth,  the CDC has been there .
